Mia Francesca | Raleigh, NC | Chef Zach VanGaasbeek

Mia Francesca Trattoria plates rustic Italian dishes in Raleigh’s North Hills.

Located adjacent to the Renaissance Hotel in Raleigh’s North Hills shopping area, Mia Francesca provides a Northern Italian, casual fine dining experience that showcases Chef Zach VanGaasbeek’s appreciation for local, fresh food.  Having acquired a foundational culinary understanding as a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, Chef Zach honed his affinity and respect for seasonality, terroir, and the use of micro-local ingredients while working in Sonoma county, California.  Now in Raleigh, Chef Zach mixes this passion and knowledge delivered upon Mia Francesca’s rustic, Northern Italian canvas.  Mia Francesca- Italian Restaurant Raleigh, NC  is part of Chicago based Francesca’s Restaurant Group started by Chef Scott Harris in 1992, also with locations in Arizona and California.
